Kent Lesbian Social Group is a group for lesbian women in Kent and surrounding area`s. It has become apparent that lesbian women in this part of the UK are relatively isolated compared to women say in London or Brighton who have a good choice of social groups.

Our website is based around an online group and We hope that by joining this group you will not only widen your circle of friends but also meet new people for fun,laughter and friendship.

This is something that is not always easy to do especially in this area due to the lack of gay venues and lesbian social groups in Kent. This group is just a social group nothing more. We do not bore you with committee meetings etc and our group is free to join and you are also free to leave our group if you wish! We are however a self-organised group so events only occur if they are arranged by members within the group.

We hold our weekly meets either on a Friday or Saturday evening and we alternate them between gay venues in Maidstone and The Medway Towns. Once you become a member of the group there is no commitment to attend meets. You can attend what you want, when you want and if you want too! We aim to make the events and meets as much fun as we possibly can and these may include walks,going for a meal, cinema, bowling, theatre and museum trips, golf etc.

We appreciate that not all women like going out on the gay scene or like noisy or smokey pubs which is why we are happy to have additonal meets to suit your needs.

Women of all ages are welcome to join this group irrespective of their colour, creed, physical disability, religion, whether in a relationship or single etc. We also appreciate that some women have children, therefore we hold events to suit all ages.
